Our summer manatee tours depart at 7:00 AM only.
During the late spring, summer, and early fall the manatees are most active in the early morning hours. A later tour would only result in a disappointing adventure.

Over the years my company has developed a reputation for customer care, cleanliness, friendliness, trust, timeliness, and dedication unmatched by any of the others in the manatee snorkel tour business.
Typically our early morning manatee tours are the better encounters. This boat will be the first in the Kings Springs area of the Crystal River before other tour operators and the general public arrive. Manatees are more active early in the morning.

A Manatee Protection Surcharge of 2% will be will be added to your total fee that will be forwarded to the Friends of Chassahowitzka, a 501c(3) charitable organization, that will be earmarked for the safety of manatees in our local waters. These funds will be directed towards law enforcement to ensure that manatees are protected. 10% of these funds will be donated to Keep Citrus County Beautiful to promote education in solid waste handling, motivating anti-litter solutions and changing business practices while contributing to the beautification of Citrus County.
If you wish to opt out of this surcharge, please notify me at the time of your booking.
We would like to thank our guests for their contributions over the past year. This has amounted to over $20,000.00 for the protection of manatees in Citrus County.

We urge other Tour Operators, Businesses, Rental Boat Operators, Kayak Rental Companies and Private Manatee Protection organizations to follow our lead in this. Funds raised for this will be used for the law enforcement needed in our county for the well being of manatees.

Our Captains will enforce these rules which are written to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy the majestic and gentle manatee. $40 includes wetsuit, mask, fins, and snorkel. This rate valid through the end of the winter season 2008-2009.
"This rate is not for groups that want a private manatee viewing tour. Ask Captain Mike for private group rates.
Our boat is Coast Guard approved for up to 25 passengers with only 15 reserved seats for swimming with manatees and 10 reserved seats for viewing manatees.
Group Tours Available
This 25 passenger boat will be available after 12 noon for groups only. Book for a Gulf Sunset cruise, Private Party, Kings Spring Swim Party, Weddings, Funerals, Corporate Functions, Business Lunches, Birthday Parties, Batchelor Parties, Anniversary Parties, Graduations, Retirement Parties, Class Reunions, Field Trips, Nature Cruises, Family Reunions, Singles Groups, Ethnic Associations or Groups, Businees After Hours Cruises, or any other form of entertainment you may choose on the Crystal River.
Binoculars available on each tour. Lunch available at the Tiki Bar at Crackers Restaurant.
Minimum $350.00 1st hour, each additional 30 minutes $100.00. ADD LUNCH: $10.00 per person. 25% non-refundable deposit required. Cash accepted only at time of departure. Lunch or Dinner docking time at Crackers Restaurant $100.00 an Hour .

Cancellation Policy
We require seven (7) days notification if you wish to cancel a tour. This is consistent with airline, car rental agency and hotel policies. If you have reserved a tour for a group of 10 or more, we require a 3 week cancellation notice. We will not refund short-notice cancellations. We pre-charge all credit card reservations for the cost of the tour. We have always required a credit card to hold a reservation. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of people reserve spots on a tour and then not show up. We make a commitment to you, who often travel long distances to get here, that you will have a seat on one of our boats. We need the same commitment from you that you will arrive and be on time. Otherwise, we needlessly disappoint someone else who would have liked your space(s) on the tour and / or we pay a Captain that we did not need. This cancellation policy is to give us time to re-sell any seats left vacant and helps us keep our prices reasonable for you. Thank you for understanding.
